We do not work alone
National and county government. Universities and TVETs. Professional bodies. Churches and community groups. NGOs. Business. Friends abroad.
Written partnerships are part of our duty. Big agreements are written down and approved the right way.
Courtesy call
We paid a courtesy call at Makueni University College. We want strong ties with places of learning.
Paton International Ltd
Paton Resort | Paton Consulting Engineers
Partnering for Opportunity, Innovation and Community Impact
We walk with Paton International Ltd. They bring two kinds of work under one roof: Paton Resort, their hospitality arm, and Paton Consulting Engineers, their professional engineering arm. The engineers specialise in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Structural Contracting and Consulting Engineering. Their own words for that work are “Delivering Buildings that are truly fit for purpose.” Paton Resort offers hospitality, accommodation, conferences, meetings, events and recreational activities.
We walk with Paton International Ltd because we share the same hope: a united, empowered and progressive Kibwezi. They see KMUA as a way to reach local talent, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, businesses and the wider community. They will bring skill and facilities. We will open doors so that work can help people here.
This partnership draws on both Paton Resort and Paton Consulting Engineers. Through Paton Consulting Engineers, we will look at student attachments, internships, industrial training, professional exposure and career development, especially for students and young professionals in engineering and related technical work. We will also look at ways to connect qualified professionals and local businesses with jobs, contracts and supply work, subject to Paton's own rules and buying process. Through Paton Resort, we will look at support for KMUA programmes: a place for meetings, conferences, workshops, mentorship programmes, trainings, networking events and other gatherings. We will also look at corporate rates and help with logistics for suitable KMUA activities.
Together we will also look at entrepreneurship and local business, community outreach and social responsibility, environmental work, educational mentorship, and tourism, including work to show Kibwezi as a place for conferences, retreats, leisure and investment.
We see this as a long-term partnership. We want more than kind words. We want practical programmes with results we can see. We will keep an open working relationship with Paton International Ltd. We will build programmes together, find new areas of work, and move toward a written framework to guide the partnership. When professional skill, hospitality, community networks and local talent meet, the gain can go far beyond one organisation.
We are glad they walk with us. We will keep an open door, write down what we agree, and do practical work together for Kibwezi.
